LUMERIS Series energy blocks are Direct Current emergency power supplies associated with a maintenance-free lead-acid battery. Conform to NF C 15-211 standards, these units have been specially designed for supplying operating cupolas and lighting systems in hospital environments. They provide continuity of service should a failure occur in the main power supply.

Advantages

Presented in the form of an IP31 RAL 7035 wall cabinet, LUMERIS energy blocks are discrete and easy to fit. A lockable door is available on option.

They contain :

  • A sealed lead-acid battery that provides emergency power for one hour or more, depending on consumption
  • A digital display giving essential parameters (voltage, current, temperature) and displaying faults for easy diagnoses
  • 3 LED lights provideing a rapid synthetic image of supply status.

An electronic battery charger guarentees an optimal regulated charge for the integrated maintenance-free batteries. To guarantee the reliability of the emergency power supply, the micro-controller piloted protection and control unit carries out regular battery tests and gives werning of any anomaly. Three contact alarms are available. The LUMERIS energy block is powered from the main supply at 230 Vac, single phase, +/-10% and provides an output voltage of 24 Vdc +12,5% -15%. All the circuits (input, battery and utilisation) are protected by fuses.
